Replacement filter for the Austin Air Allergy Machine Junior® with Pre-Filter. The Austin Air Allergy Machine Junior® was developed specifically for people with asthma and allergies living in smaller spaces. Its unique design increases air flow, filtering allergens from the air immediately.
All junior size units are interchangeable with all junior size filters. So, if you purchased HealthMate Junior® and would like to upgrade to the Allergy Machine Junior®, simply purchase a replacement Allergy Machine Junior® filter.
When ordering your replacement filter, please ensure you have selected the correct size and type, before confirming your order as there may be a restocking fee for returning filters that are ordered incorrectly.
You can check the size of your existing filter by looking for a label on the underside. Model HM200 indicates junior size filter. Our Junior size filters measure 11.5” high.
All junior size units are interchangeable with all junior size filters.

Filter Specifications
- STAGE 1 – Large Particle Pre-filter. Removes particles easily seen by the naked eye (e.g. dust, hair and pet dander).
- STAGE 2 – Medium Particle Pre-filter. Removes small to medium size particles (e.g. molds, spores and pollen) Color: gray, blue or green
- STAGE 3 – 30 sq. ft. of True Medical Grade HEPA. Removes 99.97% of all particles larger than 0.3 microns and 99% of all particles larger than 0.1 microns.
- STAGE 4 – Military Grade HEGA Carbon Cloth. HEGA (High Efficiency Gas Arrestance), providing an extremely large surface area for adsorption of chemicals, gases, viruses and bacteria.

Is it time to replace my filter?
There are two indications that your filter needs to be replaced:
- An unpleasant odor coming from the unit means that the carbon in the filter is full and the filter needs to be replaced, and
- Significantly reduced airflow coming from the unit means that the HEPA filter is full and the filter needs to be replaced.
Filter Warranty
The amount of carbon, the carbon bed thickness, and the amount of True Medical HEPA paper in our filters allows us to achieve a pro-rated five (5) year warranty. Our filters should last for five years in a normal household setting.
Austin Air provides a five (5) year pro-rated filter warranty, by far the most comprehensive in the industry. This means if the filter lasts less than five years, Austin Air will discount the cost of a new filter based on the number of years the filter has been in use. Rest assured, Austin Air filters are designed to last for an unprecedented 5 years under normal residential use.
